Our Ocean Guide

The brain-child of artist duo MAP Office (Valérie Portefaix and Laurent Gutierrez) and our Editor-in-Chief, Mara Sartore, the guide is a totally non-profit project created to raise awareness among the international art community on the environment issues related to the sea. It is not a navigation book, but a poetic yet scientific compendium about the seas and the oceans, with the aim of changing the existing dominant tendency to observe the world from the land. The contributors are scientists, oceanographers, activists, and artists.
